After growing up in a large, complicated family, I decided I saw no reason to have kids, or even get married. But God definitely has a sense of humor and I ended up falling in love with a woman with three kids. Go figure. Life is crazy.

I had an artist friend, not long before I met my wife. She was married but childless, by design. They both freelanced, and traveled regularly. They made a choice.

Do we have any control over our lives? IDK. Probably a lot less than we think. Were you destined to be this way? Probably.

The important thing is you relish it.

But life is funny. You never know what might be around the next corner.
