Boo hoo. My dig on white people might not have been universally true. Let me ask you this. How many people did you know of that had some sort of domestic help in the 50s? Some? Any?

I was born in 1968 and we had a Vietnamese refugee woman who cleaned our house and took care of the children while my parent’s worked. It was only a few years, but it happened.
