For me, this is what I always thought being a Christian meant. Even after I started questioning a lot of it, I wanted to believe that they still believed. That so many have just turned their backs on the fundamental precepts of their faith makes me question the whole thing even more.

So. I’ve gotten sort of okay with taking the parts that I like, parts that I think resonate with other cultural Christians in America, and using that as a reference point. There are many who won’t like me bothering with religion at all, that it doesn’t have anything to do with morality.

But who am I hurting?
