I think there are plenty of people who probably know the ending before they start. Maybe they don’t write it first, but they know where they’re going. It’s just not me. Maybe I don’t want to know. Discovery is half the reason I write. Maybe more than half. Maybe it’s the whole enchilada. I don’t really know.
