I was amusing myself there as much as anything. I did read a lot of bad pieces and some truly strange editorial guidelines, but then read a bunch of pretty fabulous, inventing pieces that I can’t imagine finding a home in a traditional media environment. I still read a lot of the big pubs regularly and appreciate the high standards. I haven’t even been on here a whole week yet. So I’m learning and discovering. It’s got me curious. I write a lot, and in a lot of different categories from hard core political journalism to satire, short stories to poetry, so I could be fun.
