I’m going to write about this very subject, but what I find funny is that I haven’t said I’m going to live in a cabin in the woods and reject all technology. I tell people I’m leaving Facebook and it’s “we’ll miss your writing.” What makes you think you have to give up reading my writing? Are you operating a Facebook-only device?

Anyway. Facebook is a dysfunctional community, but it is a community. It can be hard to quit. I don’t socialize IRL, so I really am more or less cutting myself off. But I’ll keep writing and hopefully an audience will find me.
