It’s easy to argue that religion is meaningless, and that no one needs religion in order to be a good person. That wasn’t the point.

Arguing that adherents to a religion are not consistent or infallible is a bit silly. Love IS the central tenant of Christianity, just not often practiced that way, which WAS the point.
