Jedi Master Dave would just like to specify that he also hates talking about his job with anyone who doesn’t understand the business. It almost always feels like polite curiosity. I might begin but when their eyes glaze over I quickly change the subject, never to return. I BARELY tell me wife about work and her eyes STILL glaze over.

BUT. That doesn’t mean there isn’t information to be gathered about who we are. I don’t really need to know how you go about your day, but I AM curious about people’s processes, especially creative ones.

All these things are incredibly valuable to explore.
