My commentary here was in no way specific to Medium. It’s typically been Facebook, and online news platforms. Overall, I find that Medium has a different caliber of readers, many of whom are writers. I also don’t believe that it’s my job to engage in conversation, just because I wrote a piece. It depends on the comment. If it’s friendly, then I’ll be friendly. If it’s not, then why bother?
