Simply adding political parties in our system of government would only delude the current system. You’d end up with an even smaller fraction of the population controlling the majority.

But even if you created more parties, what makes you think it would be a party in the middle? Why not further right or left? Everyone thinks a centrist party would draw both sides, but it wouldn’t necessarily.
