The PA who took out my stitches wanted me to use a warm compress on my hand to promote healing. How would that work exactly? A cup of coffee? I’ve never put hot or cold anything anywhere anyone has ever told me to.

I was a little surprised when they told me I had to come back to have the stitches removed. I assume the non dissolve are tougher and this was in a difficult spot. Lots of movement. But idk.
