There are only a few options in a country this diverse and size. For one, there is no geographical distinction. It’s not like the Civil War when it was North v South. It’s not regional, cultural, religious or ethnic. It’s in every city in America.

So how would you break it up? When India and Pakistan split, it was chaos and that was largely agrarian in nature. How do you take Austin out of Texas?

There is no peaceful way to do that other than to have dissolve the union, which is really a nonstarter because there is really not that much statewide loyalty. Some states maybe but no one is going to go fight and die for Missouri. Idk. Maybe they will.

If we can’t maintain the union then we become a failed state of competing warlords. Private militias protecting competing oligarchs. Anarchy. Economic collapse.

I’m still shocked that corporations haven’t gotten on board to stop it. There is nowhere to go but down.
