While I realize this piece was written to be funny, everyone should look up how the claps are actually counted. Your fifty can be counted the same as my one, depending on how I distribute my claps. If you give everyone fifty and I give everyone one, then we have done exactly the same thing. But if I normally give one and give you five, that’s the equivalent of you giving 250, which you can’t do.
