You’re taking the most fringe ideas (and at least one outright falsehood) and attributing them to actual mainstream politicians. No one in a leadership position in the Democratic Party is suggesting we take any of these ideas seriously as policy objectives. I’m not going to go one by one.

That said, I think UBI is likely the only way any society is going to survive given automation and AI. Climate change is going to kill us all unless we get radical about our response. No one wants open borders. Reparations is not unrealistic. It’s just not a Dave Chappelle episode where everyone gets a million dollars.
